Catalyst for collaboration

Creating curriculum and programs takes time and resources. The Learner Web facilitates collaboration – we don’t need to reinvent the wheel! Current Learner Web partners are excited by the ability to share Learning Plans across regions and collaborate in designing plans. The Learner Web makes it possible for adult educators to build on each other’s work, maximizing the return on their effort.
Within regions community-based organizations and institutions that serve adult learners – libraries, community colleges, community computer centers, social service organizations, youth and women’s groups – can be Learner Web partners or give and receive referrals through the Learner Web by being listed as Resources.
Volunteering organizations, universities, and corporations promoting service have new opportunities to participate in the Learner Web by providing “homework helper” phone-based volunteers or tutors that work longer with learners.
